Good news! I found a new home. I move in next week. :-)

Okay! Good news. I found a new house. It’s around the corner from my old one. The kids can finish the school year with their friends… and that’s a HUGE relief.

Now I’m packing.

And I’m thinking about how Ben Settle keeps telling me (on his podcasts) to go deep with your knowledge instead of wide.

So, I put my head down and take a deep breath.

Then I look up at my wall of books. Hundreds and hundreds of books I’ve accumulated over my 20+ years of studying marketing, copywriting, and storytelling.

And I think: “Would you be willing to read this book 10 times? Not ‘keep it for reference’. Not read it 2-3 times. Actually, for real-ios, read it 10 times, because: if you’re not willing to actually install this information into your brain… it needs to go.”

I can tell you that books have started flying off the shelves.

Ideally, I’d like to get it down to ten books that make the 10x Book List.

(I’ll still keep some novels for inspiration… so they’re exempt from the deep purging. Frankly, if I had to live without James Thurber or Edgar Allan Poe, I think my world might stop.)

Anyway, I’m curious:

If you had to move, right now, today… which 10 books would you take?

Would a copywriting book make the list?

Which one?
