How are you today?

Something important:

I write an Encouragement Thread for copywriting freelancers in a private forum, because I enjoy it and because I believe the most important tool a writer has is the ability to keep their wits about them.

Even if you have the best sales writing skills at your fingertips… if you can’t get out of your own way, you’re in deep sneakers.

So today, I’m writing these affirmations (which is all original work to me, and custom-written for that specific crowd), when it occurs to me:

You might like to hear this message too.

So, if you’re struggling with something today, then this note is for you:

Affirming: I declare that my inner life is a judgment-free zone. I accept who I am, with grace and ease. I allow my true talents to grow and bloom in this garden of love and attention.Letting go: I release the habit of believing that I am broken… or need to “work hard” to become good enough.Integration statement: “All of this… today, I allow, accept, and receive… on layers and levels.”Personal note: I got an eviction notice from my property manager yesterday. I’ve been here 5+ years. I have an excellent relationship with the homeowner, but it’s time for them to sell the house… and they want to move fast… which means they’re pushing me out of the nest. And my strong temptation is to panic… especially since I’m in the middle of a launch for my copywriting client. But instead, I’ve decided to lean on what is already true for me. Including: the joy and pleasure I get from writing, my people smarts, my 43 previous lifetimes moves (yes, 43), and leaning on selected people who show up to say, “You’ve got this.”So. If there’s something going on for you today, and you’re feeling tempted to panic, please hear my words: “You’ve got this. You can panic, if you want to, but you don’t have to. Lean into what is already is true for you. The answer is in the tools you’ve already got.”

Does that help?
